Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky was a Russian and Soviet self-taught scientist who developed the theoretical principles of cosmonautics, an esoteric thinker who explored the philosophical problems of space exploration.
Sergei Pavlovich Korolev was a Soviet scientist and designer of rocket and space systems. He was twice awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor, was a full member of the USSR Academy of Sciences, and a corresponding member of the Academy of Artillery Sciences.
