About the Mural

The artist began his street art journey in 2021 and has since transformed numerous buildings with his work. Kali develops each sketch individually, drawing inspiration from the building's external appearance.

His distinctive feature is that he avoids the typical practice of using blank, windowless gable ends. Instead, he creates murals on walls with windows, cleverly incorporating existing architectural forms into his compositions. The result is that drab, gray buildings acquire a vibrant and contemporary look.

His works can be found in Astana, Kazakhstan, as well as in Russian cities such as Balashikha, Ulyanovsk, Vologda, and Sochi—and now, in Omsk.

"I always choose deeply matte paints for my work because they don't reflect sunlight. This makes the optical illusion more convincing. This technique helps convey a sense of space and gives the building an unusual appearance and character. I try to change the building's look using paint. In the past, we didn't have such facades, paint sprayers, or, essentially, festivals like this. Now we have everything, and an artist can express themselves through their creativity! Artists have the opportunity to redesign old, standard-construction houses and make them extraordinary, bright, and unrecognizable," shared the artist from Kazakhstan.
