Dmitry Lamonov is a talented designer and artist who harmoniously blends elements of traditional folk crafts with attributes of the digital world in his work. His distinctive style is characterized by unique compositions where traditional patterns intertwine with vibrant pixels, creating a singular artistic vision.

 
In his works, Dmitry draws on traditional motifs to present Russian culture in a new light. His central idea is that traditions can and should be reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.

The digital elements in his pieces symbolize a natural transition into the digital age, building a bridge between the past and the future, between heritage and innovation.

"I have my own unique visual language. I draw inspiration from Russian letters, traditional fonts, and scripts. A key feature of my style is working with Russian calligraphic ligatures, which I feel a particular connection to. Another important aspect is inspiration from traditional Russian ornaments and crafts. In this specific work, I aimed to incorporate a local element, a certain reference to the territory we are in. Therefore, the composition presents a landscape seen from a bird's-eye view—a tribute to the 'Bird Harbor' natural reserve," shared Dmitry.
