About the Mural

"The Seraphim" Mural 

"I am an artist. I primarily paint churches and create frescoes. In this piece, I tried to explore the theme of Minecraft and modern video games that boys and girls love so much. When they see this painting, they will immediately recognize the square clouds, pixelated sun, and sky from the computer game," the artist said. 

This is Alexander's first facade of such a large scale. He has presented Russian culture in its original, fundamental meaning.

 
Alexander Tsypkov has two art degrees: one as an icon painter and the other as a monumental artist. He paints churches and frescoes and works in Christian art. The artist employs a relatively simple visual style, devoid of overt academic solutions.
