"The Swan Princess" Mural
This piece is an interpretation of the famous painting by Mikhail Vrubel.
Alexander Pomazkov is a well-known Russian artist who has participated in numerous art festivals. His work combines academic tradition with the vibrancy of authentic street art.
Alexander's works are always diverse: portraits, natural motifs, abstraction—they all regularly appear on streets across the country.
Natural themes, animalistic elements, and a distinctive personal style are the hallmarks of his graffiti.
"I was inspired to create this piece by the great artist Mikhail Vrubel, who was born in Omsk. When I first saw 'The Swan Princess,' I looked at it for about 30 minutes—it impressed me so deeply. The lighting, the dynamism of the brushstrokes—I loved everything about it. I wanted to depict it on a large wall somehow, and I managed to realize it here in Omsk, in the hometown of the renowned artist."
