Dmitry Drenin and Filipp Dulmachenko "Angara"

About the Mural

The mural is located in the very heart of the city—on the building of the Omsk Region Ministry of Education at 5 Krasny Put Street, Omsk.

The sketch author is Dmitry Drenin. He depicted a launching "Angara" rocket, which is assembled at the "Polet" production association in Omsk. Artist Filipp Dulmachenko helped bring the design to life on the 26-meter-tall building.

This large-scale graffiti featuring the "Angara," created as part of the "Omsk, You're Just Space" project, was the first to be painted and served as the official presentation of the art festival.

The "Angara" mural is a vibrant adornment for the city, as well as a reminder of Omsk's contribution to the Russian space industry.

The unveiling of the first mural for the "Omsk, You're Just Space" art festival took place on Youth Day in 2024.
